Growing up, Kim played sports year-round. She was a competitive gymnast and later became very interested in weightlifting and triathlons. Understanding how the human body works and being fit has always been of tremendous interest to Kim, and has led her to become a personal trainer and group fitness instructor.
While in college some friends invited her to checkout CrossFit. It was love at first sight! She loved the intensity, functionality, and amazing sense of community it provided and knew CrossFit would be in her future. After pursuing a career in health care she inevitably returned to CrossFit. She is very grateful to work alongside some of the most caring, passionate, and encouraging people she knows. Kim is motivated by what she sees in the coaches and athletes at CrossFit GroundSpeed. They continue to inspire her every day.
The thing she enjoys most about being a trainer is helping others discover and achieve their personal best.

Kim is a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist (CSCS) and a CrossFit Level 1 Trainer (CF-1).
